Prime Aussie Coastal Containers

At Prime Aussie Coastal Containers, we are committed to ensuring safe, reliable, and timely delivery of our containers to customers across Australia. This Shipping Policy outlines how we manage container delivery, logistics, timelines, responsibilities, and related conditions to ensure transparency and a smooth customer experience.

1. Delivery Coverage

We provide container delivery services across:

  • Coastal regions of Australia

  • Metropolitan and regional areas

  • Selected remote locations (subject to access and logistics feasibility)

Delivery availability may vary depending on container size, location, and site accessibility.

2. Delivery Methods

Containers are delivered using specialized transport equipment, including:

  • Tilt tray trucks

  • Side loaders

  • Flatbed trucks (where applicable)

The delivery method used will depend on container size, site conditions, and access requirements.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of order confirmation and may vary based on:

  • Container availability

  • Delivery distance

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic or logistical constraints

While we make every effort to meet agreed delivery schedules, delivery dates are estimates only and may be subject to change beyond our control.

4. Site Preparation & Customer Responsibilities

To ensure successful delivery, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing clear and accurate delivery address details

  • Ensuring the site is level, stable, and accessible

  • Confirming sufficient clearance for delivery vehicles

  • Removing obstacles such as low-hanging branches, power lines, or restricted access points

Failure to adequately prepare the site may result in delivery delays, additional fees, or unsuccessful delivery attempts.

5. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on:

  • Distance from depot to delivery location

  • Container size and weight

  • Delivery method required

  • Site accessibility

All delivery charges will be clearly communicated and agreed upon prior to dispatch.

6. Failed or Rescheduled Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to site inaccessibility, incorrect information, or customer unavailability:

  • Additional delivery or return fees may apply

  • Delivery may need to be rescheduled at the customer’s expense

Prime Aussie Coastal Containers is not responsible for delays caused by site-related issues.

7. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect the container immediately upon delivery. Any concerns regarding:

  • Structural condition

  • Door functionality

  • Visible damage

must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may be deemed acceptance of the container in its delivered condition.

8. Risk & Ownership

Risk passes to the customer once the container has been delivered and placed at the agreed location. Ownership transfers according to the terms agreed at the time of purchase or contract.

9. Weather & Force Majeure

Delivery schedules may be affected by adverse weather conditions or events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Road closures

  • Government restrictions

In such cases, delivery may be delayed without liability.

10. Special Delivery Requests

Requests such as:

  • Exact placement positioning

  • Tight access delivery

  • Time-specific delivery windows

must be communicated in advance and may attract additional charges.

11. Cancellations & Changes

Any changes or cancellations to delivery arrangements must be communicated as early as possible. Late changes may result in administrative or transport-related fees.
